Wondering how to fulfil your research pillar of practice?

The Research Pillar Toolkit* is a great place to start!

You will find a range of different research activities in the toolkit for you and your team to consider. 

Suggested activities are aligned to NHS England’s Multi-professional Practice-based Research Capabilities Framework, providing working examples across each of the 8 domains of the research pillar of practice. 

The toolkit also provides links to resources and training opportunities that might support these activities, a research pillar activity log and planner.

*This research pillar toolkit is based on the original Advanced Practice Research Toolkit developed by Professor Gaskin in 2023 which was developed to support Advanced Clinical Practitioners. Adaptation, dissemination and evaluation of this toolkit is part of a project led by a city-wide partnership across health and care organisations in Leeds.
