General Requirements
While each pathway serves different professional circumstances, applicants to the internship award must meet the following general requirements:
- Work in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
- Be a registered health and care professional, social worker or public health professional.
- Work in a health and care provider setting including hospitals, community settings, third sector institutions (charity funded organisation), hospices, schools etc.
- Demonstrate commitment to professional development and service improvement through research.
- Articulate clear aims for undertaking the internship and how it will benefit both personal practice and the wider team or service.
- Obtain support from their line manager, to undertake the internship activities.
