Regional organisations and networks are central to our community. These include:
- ACORN (Addressing Capacity in Organisations to do Research Network): Part of the NIHR Yorkshire and Humber ARC. ACORN is a community of practice focused on developing innovative research capacity within the NHS and wider care organisations across the region.
- Advocates of the North: A diverse network of individuals from NHS and HEI institutions, local government, and third-sector organisations across the North of England, committed to being or becoming research active.
- Children’s Health Outcomes Research At Leeds (CHORAL): This infrastructure grant supports children’s health research and creates a pipeline for nurturing future research leaders in the field.
- NIHR INSIGHT Group for Yorkshire and Humber: This group brings together NHS and care practitioners, the RRDN, and all regional higher education institutions that deliver master’s by research programmes, supporting the advancement of the INSIGHT activities.
- NIHR@Leeds: An alliance comprising the Leeds BRC, Clinical Research Facility, Healthtech Research Centre, and School of Social Care Research, working together to strengthen health research in the Leeds area.
- ONE NIHR Academic Capacity Development at Yorkshire and Humber: A collaborative initiative uniting NIHR infrastructure from across Yorkshire and Humber to support academic capacity development in health research.
- Yorkshire and Humber regional Health and Care providers: Organisations and institutions within the Yorkshire and Humber region who provide health and care services.
